Weeeeee heeee heeeeee!!! I won my first large field MTT since June 2006!

So my Sunday started off with the $22 32k guaranteed on Stars at 12:00. I decided to play a lot this Sunday and when all was said and done, I played in a total of 20 MTTs and 1 satellite. I won the seat in the satellite, which was a $5 rebuy to the $55 Sunday Special 125k guaranteed. I played the seat and didn't cash. But besides that satty seat, the day didn't start off too hot.

About 30 minutes into my session, SluggerWV hit me up on AIM. We exchanged phone numbers, don't know why we didn't have each others #'s already, and we chatted for a few. He wished me luck and I told him that I would give him something to write about in his blog because it had been a while. The day started off slow and by 2pm I wanted to quit playing. I had been running like crap the whole day (http://www.pocketfives.com/poker-forums/12/Sunday-standardaments-3392558) and was almost about to call it quits and stop registering for tournies. Something told me to keep going, so like the degen I am, I ended up registering in and playing another 9 tournies. I decided the last 2 I was going to register for were the 23:00 $2.20 2k guarantee and the 23:15 $11 6-max 5k guarantee.

Up to this point in the day, I had cashed in the $5.50 15k guarantee for $24.04 (203rd of 4,806), the $3.30 HORSE for $9.72 (27th of 432) and the $5.5o NL @ 21:00 for $8.03 (120th of 945). Well, to make a long blog, shorter, I ended up winning the 23:00 $2.20 NL which had 2,545 players and took 7 hours and 26 minutes to complete. The final table was pretty fun too. Had a big OT rail and the FT lasted for almost 2 hours. This was my first win in a non 180-man MTT since June of 2006.

Funny story to go along with this whole day. To start the day, I had $900 in my PokerStars account. After the first half of my day, when I was contemplating quitting for the day, I made a withdrawl request for $600. Money is getting a little tight around the house since I'm not working right now and I decided that I'd leave myself with $175 in my account and grind it back up. I've done it before, I can do it again. Well after this win at the end of my 18 1/2 hour session, my account is right back where it is when I started the day with $900 AND I have a check on the way for $600. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Once again, thanks to everyone who railed. That shit was fun!
